Each year The Sydney Morning Herald invites students and professional photographers to enter the Shoot the Chef competition, now in its 14th year. The competition encourages photographers to interpret the brief in their own way, always featuring a "chef" of course.

Shoot the Chef finalists are published in the The Sydney Morning Herald and on-line and were also on display on level 6 at Westfield Sydney.
