Darren Purchese is one of Australia’s most original, exciting and talented pastry chefs. He learned the exacting art of pastry and chocolate making in some of the finest hotels in London — The Savoy, The Goring, Raffles Brown and The Bentley, then made an impression in Australia at Vue de Monde and Guillaume at Bennelong. The sweets, desserts and cakes that he creates at his bespoke Melbourne studio are works of edible art. Life is set to become even sweeter with the release of his first book, Sweet Studio in October.
